Getting Here

If driving simply use the Google Map link above. If flying, PDX is the airport you will use. It is a beautiful 55 minute drive from Portland Oregon/PDX.

For a small fee Novo will offer a shuttle that will get you here and back to PDX. Shuttle details and pricing coming in April 2024. Rental cars are also available at PDX, at the time this was written a small rental starts at $300 for the 6 day period.

Uber and other ride share options do NOT operate in Hood River, while they may be able to get you here (for around $100), they do not operate in Hood River, so you should NOT rely on Uber/ride shares for local transit or a ride back to the airport. Taxis are an expensive option that do serve the area.

Weather

Oregon is legendary for its rain… fortunately it also has legendary summers. So, we cannot promise you that it will not rain, but we are hopeful that we will have some beautiful weather at the end of June! Below are averages that you can expect in Hood River during June.

Summers, from June to August, deliver the warmest months with temperatures peaking at an average high of 78.4°F in July and August. Rainfall numbers dip to the year's lows, with July recording a mean of just 0.28". Sunshine hours are generous, reaching up to 11.7 hours per day in July, translating to an average of 25.4 sun-drenched days in a month. These blithe conditions make for an idyllic time to revel in Hood River's verdant landscapes and outdoor adventures.
