Candy Campbell, CSL

  • My name is Candy Campbell and I currently serve on the SentWell Team in Malaga, Spain. I met Jeff in Germany and we married and continued to serve there for 30+ years. We had the joy of raising our 4 wonderful kids cross culturally. We’ve entered empty nesting and are enjoying knowing our adult children in this new season (all between the ages of 21-27). We also just welcomed our first grandbaby into the family – quite the delight! My heart is for those living cross culturally and my desire is to encourage their intimacy with Christ and to see them live out their calling from a place of deep connection with Him. I have an MA in Counseling and enjoy working with people in the areas of identity, attachment, burnout, anxiety, transition, grief, and loss. I also enjoy engaging with individuals to know Jesus through contemplative practices and healing prayer.

Jeff Campbell, CSL

  • Jeff believes that most everything (good and bad) flows from an integrated or disintegrated heart. He has a specialized interest in engaging relationships, transitions, identity, vocation, burnout and spiritual struggle as opportunities to deepen intimacy with Christ. We are designed to be connected to God and one another. Identifying roadblocks to these crucial attachments and building patterns of awareness, vulnerability, and availability (to God and others) is what Jeff most enjoys. Healthy attachments lead to healthy marriages, families, and ministry teams. Jeff values conversations to help people thrive in all these crucial relationships.

Jessica Dagen, SD

  • Hi there! I grew up as a missionary kid in the Czech Republic, so I feel more at home in places where English isn't the predominant language and with people who also have a hard time answering the question, "Where are you from?" (can I get an "Amen"?). I am on a personal mission to make friends in as many countries as possible so I can travel the world and couchsurf for free! My experience on the mission field showed me the importance of providing holistic support for those who give their lives in ministry — caring for those who care for others — so I earned my M.A. in Spiritual Formation & Soul Care from Talbot Seminary and now minister as a spiritual director. God gave me the dream of providing people space to connect more deeply with him, themselves, and their families in a cross-cultural context; and he began fulfilling that dream when I joined Novo in 2020. Some of my favorite things in the world include listening to people's stories (extended versions welcome!), connecting with God in art and nature (not necessarily simultaneously — apparently tempera paint and dirt do not mix well), and discovering new favorite hole-in-the-wall eateries (bonus points if you don't know how to pronounce the menu items).

Kimberly Drage, CH

  • I love playing with ideas, the outdoors, laughing and making things with paper. I grew up on the Oregon coast, served for 11 years in Asia where misty limestone mountains shaped me (that is, when I could get away from the asphalt and continuous honking of the city we lived in). Now, I live in St Andrews, Scotland, where I regularly enjoy the gentle waves of the North Sea and the cobblestone streets of our town.

I love doodling and coloring – activities that often find their way into my spiritual spaces. I like to pray while coloring, draw in my Bible and doodle through sermons (I find it’s a great way to listen).

I am married to an artist-theologian and we have two amazingly creative and vibrant girls who are just embarking on the teenage years. It is our weekly tradition to rest all day Saturdays and enjoy pizza and a movie on Saturday nights.

I am passionate about seeing people well-supported in their organizational contexts. I believe care for cross cultural workers isn’t the exclusive role of member care, but rather the work of everyone in the organization. I am also passionate about coaching and helping people find faithful ways forward as God has powerfully used this type of support in my journey.
