We’d like to present three approaches as you think about what to do for our fun day in Bulgaria. We want you to get the most out of the time on Saturday so please join the conversation in Whova Communities!
Approach 1:
Visit the hotel’s “Explore” page on their website, or other local travel site. Here is one other offering.
Review suggestions they have to get an idea of guided tours available.
Reach out to others you might want to group with and decide ahead of time what you as a group you’d like to do. Remember you can do this in the Whova Community. There is already a discussion topic started.
Book through the hotel.
Approach 2:
Wait until you are onsite to form a group of people to explore with.
Book a tour or excursion through the hotel, or other Sofia-based group.
Transportation will need to be scheduled through the hotel, or other local option.
Approach 3:
Join a shuttle that will only go from the hotel to a central spot in Sofia. This shuttle will leave at a set time in the morning, and will be back in Sofia at a designated time to pick the group up.
Plan a walk-about in Sofia. Here is a map of some things to do and see so you can plan your day based on the amount of time you’ll have.
This will be a group shuttle that you can register for here. We will give this info to the hotel on July 25th so please fill out the form if you’d like to join the shuttle. The cost is $12.50/person/direction. This can be paid for via your staff fund, or by credit card.
To be clear, this is not a hosted or a guided tour, but a means to get you to Sofia, and back at the end of the day.
